Welcome to Holy Family Preschool! My name is Mrs. Self and I have been teaching preschool for over twenty years. I am a member of Sacred Heart Parish. I have been married for over twenty-five years and am the proud mom of three boys. It is a pleasure to welcome you to my classroom!
While in school we will provide a safe and happy learning environment. We will provide your child with many activities to promote their growth in fine and gross motor activities, language, pre-math and perception and dramatic play. Holy Family Preschool offers an exciting environment for social interaction and self help skills. Our program offers daily religion class learning prayers, and Bible stories. The Friday four year old class will attend Mass twice monthly at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Our preschool is a well rounded program that is developmentally appropriate for three to five year old children.
A monthly newsletter will be sent home giving information about the weeks to come. There will be a monthly snack calendar sent home, please keep track of your child's snack day. In addition to a snack please include a drink.
At school your child will need a backpack daily. I ask that you pack a spare change of clothing and we will keep it in the backpack. In the hallway there is a parent board. All of the monthly activities will be posted there for your convenience. You will also find the Giving Tree, the items on the tree are supplies the classroom is in need of. If you would like to donate, simply bring the items listed to class. I offer parent teacher conferences twice a year to discuss your child's progress in the classroom. They are offered in October and February. I am always available to discuss any concerns or questions you have about your child's behavior and development in the classroom.
Parents can keep updated with preschool by visiting our website. You may call the classroom directly at 785-233-9171 to report your child late or absent. The main office phone number at our West Campus is 785-234-8980.
God Bless You!
Mrs. Self
